Dr. Teoh received his M.S. and PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

His research areas are Information Visualization, Visual Data Mining, Usability Studies, and Procedural Modeling. He currently has active projects in Procedural Modeling for creating 3D models of cities, terrains, gardens, and buildings.

Dr. Teoh has previously worked on visual classification, tree visualization, bibliography visualization, and various other graphics-related projects. He has applied his visualization tools to the analysis of Internet routing data, and for intrusion detection.
