All new CS Majors (Freshmen, transfers, and change of major), have to complete the following advising activities to fulfill their advising requirements in Computer Science:

Freshmen / Freshwomen Students

Transfer Students

Change of Major Students

1. Orientation in summer

2. Advising workshop (an email will be sent) with your Academic Advisor (Rocio Avila or Bernard Mesa)

• They will help do your academic planner

• Sign your Advising Release Form (after you have met all advising requirements)

3. Meetings  with your Computer Science Peer Mentor

• Individual meetings

• Department Events
